Beginners Corner  -  Stanley & Anita Flower

23-8-18-0007.jpg

Stanley and Anita Flower have been actively involved with the DSA Sequence Dance Club since the eighties.

They have  both devoted a disproportionate amount of their life in furtherance of Olde Tyme and Modern Sequence Dancing in Gibraltar.

Their sustained achievement has required a high degree of commitment and total dedication .  What is most impressive and highly commendable is  that they have always  given of their time without  receiving any remuneration .

Over the years Stanley and Anita have acquired and developed valuable links with Dance Organisations in the United Kingdom.

The past nine years have been particularly exciting and challenging for them.  In addition to their  assuming responsibility for teaching  on Friday evenings pending the appointment of Leaders,  they started a most popular “BEGINNER”S  CLASS”

The class meets every Wednesday also at  THE CENTRAL HALL and Newcomers are encouraged to attend. They receive tuition in basic dance steps and practice sequences in a most relaxed atmosphere.   On occasions past dances are revised.  This too has become most popular as Newcomers are able to learn a complete dance which is included in the Programme for the following Friday.

WHY NOT POP IN ANY WEDNESDAY AND SEE WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT.

FOR SURE - YOU WILL NOT BE  DISAPPOINTED

As for most men in the club I had two left feet and no rhythm and although I thought it just wasn't for me now I'm eager to go.

A great social gathering
